MLK Weekend Day #1

Morning view from our 3 bedroom balcony. Makes you want to get up and out there!

The boys and I headed to the Gap- 5 minutes away from the condos with our bikes.

We did some incredible (tough)  kid friendly bouldering and exploring

Sometimes it was tough to keep up.

Just hiking the bottom of this canyon is incredible. On a good day you can sit and watch (or participate in) several groups of climbers climbing the walls.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

This is our first ThanksGiving down here in St George! And we like it! It is Sunny and 64! We had T-giving dinner with great friends that also came down to St G. As they said, "It seems like EVERYONE we know is down in St George. There does seem to be a migration around this time of year.

We found an awesome kid friendly bike trail in Santa Clara that also has some Awesome petroglyphs called the Anasazi trail system. The kids got to ride, scamper and explore the boulders looking to see how many petroglyphs they can find- heaven for the kids. We liked them so much we returned for a hike there the next day.

In-between the fun we did put in some work to get some finishing touches done on the three bedroom like connecting the cable on all rooms, more art decorations, more lighting in the master bedroom and balcony repair. I think the remodel has come together very nicely. Our family sure is enjoying the stay and hopefully our guests will to.

The NEW Three Bedroom

This week we finished up the last few touches on the remodel job in the three bedroom. It was a team effort with my boys, mom, mother in law and her husband. I hear it's a rarity that mother in laws get along but these two get along great together. I think that was the highlight of the trip. Here's some pictures.

FREE WI-FI in all units!

I am blogging from V8 right now on our new wi-fi connection! As of today all our units will have FREE wi-fi! Now there is no excuse not to stay with us!

V8 Remodel

I just got back from inspecting the V8 Remodel. We are about 2 weeks out and it'll be ready. I hope to head down and "break it in" the first week of August and then turn it loose on all of our travelers. I had a great 3 hour bike ride Tuesday morning 6a-9a while it was still relatively cool. The picture is from near the Gap Tank at the top of the nature preserve and Bear Claw Poppy trail.
